Geraldo, Chapter 6

Abstract

Introduction:  Geraldo is a philosophical novel, targeted at 9-10 year olds.  The novel speaks directly to children who are learning to read, as well as children learning English as a second language.  The work attempts to focus on reasoning skills embedded in language as well as on philosophical themes that arise when a child is learning to read a second language.
