Abstract

Introduction: Pixie (Lipman, 1981), one of the novels from the Philosophy for Children series, was chosen for an exploratory trial in which we documented the teaching strategies that were used. We identified those which seemed to contribute to the success of the trial. The purpose of this paper is to describe these strategies in detail.
